Straight in the Mouth - 10 min
Use Buddy Hall's training device or another mouth that works to keep your stroke straight
3 Ball Rotation - 20 min
Throw out the 7, 8 and 9 ball and shoot in rotation. Be VERY meticulous about your pre-shot routine. This is vital to running out consistently.
Execution of 2 Balls - 20 min
The stripe is a chalk's width off the rail. Pocket this staying extremely still (use high or high and a little left to hold the line) and make the CB go back and forth for an easy shot on the 8-ball.
Threes - 20 min
Set the 7, 8 and 9 ball as they are in this photo and mark the balls with stickers. They do not need to be set up exactly like they are in the photo. They won't be in a game either. You are in the Master Class and are preparing yourself to be ready for anything. I'll help you in lab - everyone's pattern might be a little different based on exactly where they are placed. I don't want you wasting too much time trying to set them up exactly as they are in this photo or diagram.
Break Rak - 20 min
Goal is to keep the CB in the center of the table. Also focus on getting a more powerful break.
See Who "Sucks"- 30 min
Play someone 9-ball and the loser has to vacuum 2 pool tables next door at the Oasis. Keep track with 1 coin at the end of the table to show who is up or down games. This is how you would keep track if you were gambling $5 per game, for example. It is not a race. Whoever is up at the end of 30 minutes wins. If it's a tie, play 1 game tie breaker. If anyone stalls, put them on a shot clock.:)
